Is unfortunateeventsmovie.com official? It claims to include "a growing body of evidence regarding something so awful I can't even write it down ..." and announces: "Worse, eyes are appearing in places even more alarming than Count Olaf's ankle."

Avert your eyes! This picture, from the movie Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events, is disturbing enough. Avoid seeing more by staying away from movie theatres. Also, don't click here.

Unless you have a taste for dark rooms, sticky floors, stale popcorn, and unhappy endings, steer clear of the movie.

You should be warned that these unfortunate persons are to be held responsible:

Klaus Baudelaire: Liam Aiken
Violet Baudelaire: Emily Browning

Count Olaf: Jim Carrey
Mr. Poe: Timothy Spall
Uncle Monty: Billy Connolly
